A while back, I watched Jessa’s livestream on how to have university in the main hood using Larky’s Semester Tester, but she was not crazy about the giant apple sculpture.
Because the mod is the Maxis cheat object that allows us to change semester info, that’s what the object looks like. It’s just what Maxis chose for the model, and Larky’s mod made it visible in the catalog. Larky didn’t include the resource to change the model in his package, so I’ve fixed that by including it in mine.
I added a 3DModel capability to the Semester Tester, so we can get rid of the giant apple sculpture, and, then added the necessary BHAVs to allow placement so that any sculpture can be placed appropriately without OMSPs. You can now change the model yourself, using my tutorial on the topic, and any sculpture should work on any typical surface without cheats or OMSPS. If you need one that doesn’t work, send me a note, and I’ll see if it can be fixed.
In case you don’t want to change it yourself, I’ve provided several models that suggest school to me, including books, reader or writer desk supplies, the Molecule Sculpture, and the Football Helmet.
Unfortunately, right now, you still need to choose only one as they all share the same GUID. If I figure out a way to make them function separately, I’ll update to do that.
