Cute alert! This was the first idea I had for a new object when I started working with meshes. It’s deco that I made for my playhouse lot, a doll-sized sculpture of a highchair with a posed bear.
It took a lot more work than it probably looks like, but, in the end, there’s not much that needs to be said about it. It’s an original mesh, obviously made from the Maxis highchair and bear. It’s RP2MX (repositoried to Maxis) so it works with Gwenke’s There’s Only One Bear mod and with any recolors you have of this chair and the original Durably Plush bear (the one in overalls).
It has a custom shadow and a custom thumbnail and I want to thank LucyDique for her generous testing to help me find a great camera angle as well as her patience in helping me figure out the camera and repository techniques. I probably would have given up on them long before I got it this far without her.
The BearChair is found in my usual deco spot as a $44 sculpture.
In honor of my new bit of fluff and Halloween, I’ve also dusted off an old bit of CC to go with it. Here is eringobragh22’s Scary Bear texture made into a recolor. This cute bear was originally shared as a recolor in 2010 on MTS, but it was actually a default replacement that replaces the bear in overalls. There are comments in the thread through the years asking for a recolor version, but they haven’t been answered, so ten years later, just in time for Halloween, I’ve taken the liberty of making it a recolor. All credit to eringobragh22 for the adorable texture. It’s a recolor for the Durably Plush bear that will also work with my BearChair.
