I prefer to terraform in SC4 rather than use the neighborhood modify cheat, but that can be difficult if I want to match Criquette’s train slopes.
Folks at Simtropolis helped me make this tool that automatically creates slopes the right height for Criquette’s sloped rails.
What is it?
It’s a plugin for SC4, created by the awesome CoriBoom team at Simtropolis that modifies one of smoncrie’s lot raisers from the NAM 36 to match the slope that Criquette-was-here used on railway slopes. I tweaked their plugin to match the height of the rail slopes as closely as possible. It was all part of my train craze where I made add-ons for Criquette’s rail set.
How to use it?
This is only for use in SimCity4 for terraforming terrains. Don’t put it anywhere near your Sims 2 Downloads folder. Drop both files into your SC4 plugins along with other lot raisers and diggers.
This is, since my tweak, not exactly a 7.75 as the icon says, but it’s close enough. Honestly, I don’t know enough about SC4 to change the icon Boom made or to give you much support on this at all, but I assume if you use SC4 and lot raisers, you know what it is. If not, the people at Simtropolis who are, possibly, as in love with their old game as we are with ours, are extremely kind and helpful, so do ask over there if you need help getting started with SC4.
